The children have been thoroughly enjoying our autumnal topic 'Why do squirrels hide their nuts?'

We have been extremely busy creating hedgehog houses, squirrel muffins and owl baby puppets. During this topic we have also been learning about all different festivals and celebrations including Diwali, Bonfire night and Christmas.

The children have been working incredibly hard to learn all of their new sounds and their writing is a true reflection of this. I am very proud of all the children in Class 2.

Welcome to class 2

 

The children have settled very quickly into their new school environment and they are all growing in confidence every day. They have been learning about friendships and played lots of games to help them build relationships with their peers. The children have been exploring lots of exciting new resources to help with their learning including construction, games, role plays, creative materials, bikes & trikes, Ipads and malleable materials. They have all settled well into new routines and have been making good progress in Math and English lessons. We are very proud of each and every child and we look forward to working with them this academic year.
