Healthy Week

The children have had a very exciting week learning about how to keep themselves healthy. They have learned a range of sports and have had some local clubs give them some trial sessions. The children have participated in football, martial arts, frisbee, dodgeball, softball, rounders and tennis. The children also competed in their sports day and Race for Life.

Throughout the week the children have also learned about healthy eating, good hygiene, sex education and keeping themselves  safe.

Selwood Games

Children in year 3 & 4 recently participated in the Selwood Games organised by SportInspired. SportInspired is a charity which brings together schools, businesses, sports clubs and local authorities. Through this partnership working the children have been able to access a range of sports and opportunities which may not ordinarily be accessible to them. The children had a fabulous day and all came away with a well deserved medal.
