School years are not just a time for classroom learning, but also for identifying passions and hobbies. Here at The Manor School, we conduct a wide range of after-school clubs, all of which are aimed at giving our students the best school experience possible. These clubs allow them to follow their passions and develop individual skills and talents.
By taking part in these clubs, our students are able to develop an array of transferable skills, including confidence, imagination, teamwork, coordination, focus, creativity, and determination. Honing these attributes at an early age sets our students up for success not only at school, but also in their adult life.
Breakfast Club is an important facility for pupils with working parents and for those who perhaps need a good start to the school day with a meal inside them. It is open to all pupils, aged 4-11 years, and is run by experienced members of staff, both first-aid trained. Children are dropped off in the Parents' Room which is immediately on the left as you enter the main school entrance.
Breakfast Club is open from 7:30am (term time only). Food is served until 8:15am. KS1 pupils stay in Breakfast Club until 8:35am, whereas KS2 pupils are allowed on to the playground at 8:20am when there is staff supervision.
There is a small cost of £1.50, which includes breakfast if needed. Breakfast provided is a range of toast with jam, marmalade or marmite and occasionally croissants and crumpets.
Activities provided include construction toys, creative activities, role play, board games and some physical games, eg Badminton. There is also time to complete any unfinished homework.
After School Club
After School Club runs in term time only for Reception-Year 6 pupils. For more information please contact the school office.
