The special day will soon be upon us! With only a few weeks to go, everyone at The Manor is feeling the Christmas spirit.
Over the coming days, the school community will be taking part in a number of festive events. Below, we’ve listed all you need to know about the advent season at The Manor CofE Primary School.
- On Friday 13th, between 3:15 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., our Parent, Teacher, and Friends Association is running their Christmas Fair. Attendees will be able to meet Santa in his grotto, enjoy playing games with the children, and savour some of the delicious cakes that will be on sale.
- On Tuesday 17th, our pupils will each be making a Christingle in preparation for the church service at St Michael & All Angels on Wednesday 18th. We’re sure our children are going to love this traditional activity that celebrates Jesus Christ as the light of the world. We’d like to remind all parents to ensure their children come to school with oranges on Tuesday 17th.
- Also on Tuesday 17th, we will be hosting an afternoon showcase event at 2:45 p.m. Our pupils can’t wait to show parents the fantastic project work they’ve been making.
We believe it’s important to teach our pupils about the Christian message behind all the festivities. Our partnership with St Michael & All Angels Church is very important to us, and we are sure that our Christmas church service will be touching and enlightening for everyone involved.
Christmas is a time for coming together, and we’d love to see all of you at our fantastic festive events showing your support for our wonderful pupils.
